Dunnage bag inflator

Tools for inflation and care of our inflatable bags

Accessories for the proper use of ProBags

Battery-powered pistol

This pistol has a non-slip grip to offer greater comfort to the user. The speed can be adjusted: high, low and medium. Up to 75 minutes of continuous use with the 4.0Ah battery. Possibility of using it as a vacuum cleaner by changing the position of the pipe. Air volume: 2.6m3 /min. Air speed: 80m/sec. Battery with charge indicator. Autonomy: more than 70 standard bags. Fast charger (less than 30 minutes).

Manometer Monster

Very robust inflator air gun with built-in pressure gauge. This gun is suitable for inflating high resistance bags (level 2 AAR up to level 5 AAR). Thanks to its manometer, it will allow us to measure the air pressure of the inflatable bag.

Mini Jet Flow

Ideal for inflating bags in very small holes. The same quality, speed and resistance as a conventional air pistol, but in a smaller size.  It is also available with a rear closing flap for pressures above 2 psi.

Mini Jet Flow Manometer

The same product as the Mini Jet Flow gun with the addition of an analog pressure gauge to control the pressure level of the ProBag inflatable bags.

Combo Adapter

This product is necessary for the inflation of our ProBag Cairgo. It can be adapted to all ProBag pistols. It is a click spring system that is fixed to the combo valve (available in metal).

A dunnage bag inflator is a specialized device used to inflate dunnage bags. Dunnage bags are large, inflatable bags typically made from materials like kraft paper or plastic, designed to fill void spaces in cargo shipments and secure items during transportation. The main purpose of a dunnage bag inflator is to quickly and efficiently inflate these bags to the desired pressure, providing stability and cushioning for the goods being transported.

When shipping cargo in containers, trucks, or other modes of transportation, there are often empty spaces or gaps between the items being shipped. These voids can lead to movement and shifting of the cargo during transit, potentially causing damage or reducing the overall stability of the shipment. By using dunnage bags, these empty spaces can be filled, effectively preventing the cargo from moving and minimizing the risk of damage.

Here’s how a dunnage bag inflator typically works:

  1. Placement: Before loading the cargo, the deflated dunnage bags are strategically placed in the empty spaces or gaps between the items.

  2. Connection: The inflator is then connected to the dunnage bag through a valve or nozzle.

  3. Inflation: The inflator pumps air into the dunnage bag, causing it to rapidly inflate and expand to fill the available space tightly.

  4. Adjustment: The pressure inside the dunnage bag can be adjusted using the inflator to ensure it provides the necessary cushioning and support for the cargo.

  5. Securing: Once the dunnage bag is properly inflated and in place, it helps secure the cargo during transportation, reducing the risk of movement or damage.

Using a dunnage bag inflator not only saves time but also ensures that the bags are inflated consistently and adequately for optimal cargo protection. It is a practical and efficient solution for securing goods during transit, especially in scenarios where cargo items are irregularly shaped or don’t completely fill the shipping container.
